Junya Watanabe launched his eponymous line in conjunction with Comme des Garcons in 1993 after working as a designer for the brand prior. Watanabe's designs reference punk and romantic aesthetics and the method of deconstruction. Created in collaboration with the Japanese-based brand, Rebuild by Needles, the Multi Patch Pocket Bomber boasts a classic bomber silhouette, designed with an oversized zip fastening, press stud welt pockets and multi-pocket detailing. The jacket is finished with rib knit trims and wadded for lightweight insulation.
