The Artist's Chloroplast Signet Ring boasts oval-cut lapis lazuli gemstones, framed in a textured detailing. Before the 1826 invention of synthetic blue, old master painters relied on lapis lazuli for its deep pigment, a stone which once commanded a price higher than its weight in gold.
