The ASICS x Lapstone & Hammer collaboration is centred upon the notion of "The Spark", the moment of ignition, the contagious driving force that sets everything in motion. Driven by this concept, the pair created a unique GEL-KAYANO 12.1, featuring an open diamond knit mesh upper overlaid with metallic silver and cream pebbled leather panels. The classic tiger stripes feature black hairy suede on the lateral side, and cream suede on the medial. Red accents on the GEL midsole and ASICS heel logo nod toward a flame and spark, while the red-dipped lace tips represent match heads. Each pair comes with a custom-printed box of matches.
