Junya Watanabe launched his eponymous line in conjunction with Comme des Garcons in 1993 after working as a designer for the brand prior. Watanabe's designs reference punk and romantic aesthetics and the method of deconstruction. Crafted in Japan from cotton flannel, the Filson Cotton Flannel x Cotton Oilskin Jacket boasts an all-over check pattern on the front, a snap-button front closure and button cuffs. Finished with a chest pocket, elbow patches, a contrast collar and cuffs for a unique touch.
