Junya Watanabe launched his eponymous line in conjunction with Comme des Garcons in 1993 after working as a designer for the brand prior. Watanabe's designs reference punk and romantic aesthetics and the method of deconstruction. Crafted exclusively from cotton in Japan, the Cotton Stripe x Cotton Flannel Shirt features an all-over stripe patterned front contrasted against a brushed cotton flannel pack panel. Defined by corduroy elbow patches and a round collar for a unique take on everyday shirting.
