Created in 2002 by Tetsuhiro Hattori and Kyoko Ide, YAECA's designs embody the concept of "inevitable simplicity," observing our surroundings and daily lives to create essential, long-lasting pieces of clothing. Woven from a rugged plain-weave cotton and linen blend, the CANVAS Wide Work Pants are designed with a textured finish and high-density construction. Dyed using plant-based extracts from chestnut and marshmallow black flowers, the fabric develops a distinctive wrinkled surface through washing, designed to soften and evolve with wear. Finished in a wide straight silhouette with a subtle taper, they offer an easy shape with a slightly shorter length.
